Tampon Recall Across The Nation

Wednesday, November 16th, 2011

In today’s economy people are pinching the pennies harder than ever to ensure that they have just enough to get by with. The job market as well as the economy is lower than they have been in the past, but are slowly bringing its self back up. However, when we purchase something with our hard earned money we expect not only the product we purchased, but also for it to be functional. We assume things such as electronics, or more pricey items that are complicated to have the potential for malfunction, but now we have to even take a closer look at toiletries.

Recently, Kotex tampons have stated that it will be recalling tampons across the nation due to potential bacterial contamination. The issue was brought to light by 1,400 cases that dealt with illness. When a female uses a contaminated tampon they put their body at easy risk for viruses that can easily affect prior health problems on an even worse level, or could potentially kill an individual due to severe infection.

The company issued the recall after testing of the tampons, which found bacteria in the plastic tip of Kotex’s non-scented regular size tampon line. If this issue was to occur with someone in these economic times they could easily catch a virus from this product and not be able to pay for proper health care, or even be treated. Tampons are considered normal toiletries in the everyday life of a woman that millions use each and every day not only in the United States, but the world as a whole.

With such a simple necessity of life being tainted by illness, a person can easily slide into a financial hole even greater than a possible prior one. Without the proper care a person can easily become greatly ill, which not only affects your body, but also your employment. When faced with an issue like this you need a lawyer that you can not only count on, but also depend on their honesty and commitment to your case.

Maybe Taking A Bite Out Of More Than A Sandwich

Tuesday, November 15th, 2011

Everyday we as people have schedules we wake up, go to work, sleep and press the repeat button at least five days a week. With so much to do in so little time the stress that is not only assumed, but accompanied with responsibility is overwhelming and greatly affects a person. However, one thing that people look forward to on a day to day basis is the fact that they not only get to go home from their job at some point, but they also get a point in the day that for an hour or less they can sit down relax and have a bite to eat, lunch.

So when you finally catch a moment to yourself and bite into your delicious sandwich you would naturally assume it can do no evil. Think again. Recently, a prepackaged sandwich manufacturer issued a national recall on over 17,000 cases that involved food poisoned sandwiches throughout the country. The company originally stated that the recall only affected 1,751 cases, but obviously that was not completely on point.

Listeria, which is a dangerous food borne bacteria, can easily make an individual sick and in some extreme cases can lead to the death of an individual. Without proper knowledge of the product a person can easily catch this food poison bacteria. Landshire, who is known nationally in their “Go Meat” advertising campaign, produced the sandwiches affected by this.

The location of these sandwiches can be found in convenient stores and airports across the country giving leeway to many people catching this illness. However, if this food poison affects you physically, you can be financially as well. Since our economic decline, the country is in a state of careful decisions being made with money and barely making it as it is. When a person catches this form of food poison medical attention must be sought after immediately or else a more severe illness or death can easily stem from it.
